Chipotle has witnessed a marvelous festive season this year. After opening five new locations across the Greater Atlanta area, the brand continues to build on its expansion strategy. The rapid growth underscores the brand’s continued demand in the Atlanta market.
Chipotle Opens Five New Locations in the Greater Atlanta Area
Chipotle has expanded its Atlanta footprint over the past two months with multiple new store openings. The growth is reflected in five new restaurants that opened across the Greater Atlanta area in November and December.
The latest opening was the new location in Acworth that comes with a Chipotlane. The restaurant features the brand’s signature drive-thru pickup lane. Another recent opening was in Union City, which also features a Chipotlane.
December also saw the opening of the Dacula location on the 3rd. Meanwhile, the Winder Chipotlane and Newnan Chipotlane opened on November 4 and November 18, respectively.
The new locations show the love the Greater Atlanta area has for the fast-casual restaurant. The openings also introduce limited-time menu items and rewards programs to nearby neighborhoods.
New and Customizable Options
The expansion coincides with the return of select limited-time menu offerings. The menu items include the returning protein Carne Asada and a new sauce, Red Chimichurri. The limited-time items introduce new flavors as the brand settles into its latest Atlanta-area locations.
In addition, the new locations offer Chipotle’s Build-Your-Own Chipotle group meal option. With this, locals can make their stress-free orders that serve four to six people. It is customizable, which makes the Chipotle experience even better.
To celebrate the new openings, guests can enjoy $10 off their first Build-Your-Own Chipotle through the end of the year.
Special Rewards for College Students
Chipotle is also expanding access to its rewards program alongside the new openings. This time, it has a special offer for college students. Upon enrolling in the Chipotle U Rewards program, college students can score a bonus 1,000 points. Following this, they can also earn 20% more points on every purchase.
Combined, the incentives allow students to earn rewards more quickly. The initiative is designed to appeal specifically to college students, a key Gen Z demographic. Meanwhile, these new openings will help the brand spread this value deal further.
