The Mackenzie Club, “a Sophisticated Retreat for Golf Aficionados” is working to become “Austin’s premier indoor golf, dining, and social club” next year. According to documents submitted to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the new membership-based golf haven is set to begin construction in January—a $7 million project expected to be completed next November.
“The Mackenzie Club combines state-of-the-art golf technology with impeccable service in a stylish, comfortable setting,” says the club’s website. “Our private members-only club offers year-round golf, exceptional dining, and a vibrant social atmosphere where members can play, dine, and connect.”
Not only does the upcoming members-only social club promise state-of-the-art indoor golf—along with “elegant lounges and gathering areas designed for conversation and connection,” it also promises an exceptional dining experience.
“Our culinary program delivers a thoughtful menu of elevated classics and innovative dishes prepared with the finest ingredients. Paired with an impressive selection of wines, craft cocktails, and premium spirits, dining at The Mackenzie Club is an experience to savor,” the website says.
Behind the Mackenzie Club is founder Dave Rogenmoser. What Now reached out to Rogenmoser on Tuesday to ask about plans for the new exclusive indoor golf destination. Regenmoser was not immediately available for comment.
