Dante’s Inferno, a multi-level nightlife and dining destination, is preparing to open in San Francisco at 1815 Market Street.

The ground-floor Inferno will serve as a supper club and live-music venue, while the rooftop bar, Paradiso, offers a Caribbean-inspired lounge experience, according to the company’s website. The project is the vision of first-time restaurateur Dante Buckley, a former video game designer, actor, blues guitarist, and skydiver. Dante’s Inferno will also expand in early 2027 with a third concept called Bea’s Diner. While an exact opening date has not yet been confirmed, the venue is expected to launch in Fall 2026.

Buckley says the concept was inspired by Dante Alighieri and The Divine Comedy, aiming to create an immersive nightlife experience that revives San Francisco’s post-pandemic social scene. The venue’s design will feature luxurious interiors with stained-glass windows, velvet banquettes, black-marble bars, and dramatic lighting. Inferno will host live music and ticketed dinners paired with performances, while Paradiso emphasizes rooftop views, DJs, and Caribbean-style cocktails featuring rum and amaro. Both levels will maintain an intimate atmosphere, with no-cell-phone policies to enhance guest engagement.

The menu will highlight Jamaican flavors, including patties, jerk chicken and pork, curry chicken, and ackee and saltfish, alongside Italian-inspired dishes reflecting Paradiso’s fusion concept. Drinks will include intricate cocktails at Inferno and Caribbean-style beverages at Paradiso.

Dante’s Inferno will launch with a special event, “Don’t Look Down,” at 111 Minna, featuring DJ Pee. Wee (Anderson .Paak), with proceeds benefiting the 49ers Foundation and Hurricane Melissa relief in Jamaica. This will be an excellent landing space for a multi-level nightlife venue combining food, music, and culture in Hayes Valley.
