Roberts Meat Market and Deli Says Goodbye
For 45 years, Roberts Meat Market and Deli has been a beloved fixture in the local Texas community. Customers have long praised the shop for its fresh meats and friendly service.
Owned and operated by Robert and Becky Ramirez, the store has announced its closure. In the Facebook post the team shared, “It is with a heavy heart to tell everyone that as of December 31, 2025, Robert’s Meat Market will close.”
“Robert and Becky want to retire fully. These two people have worked hard for the last 45 years and very well deserve to relax,” explained the team.
The Robert’s Steakhouse portion of the business shut down in August 2025 after years of serving.
After the closure was announced, many loyal customers shared their sadness on social media.
“It’s difficult to imagine Orange, TX, without Robert’s Meat Market & Deli! You have been such a fixture for so many years for so many families & friends’ celebrations, graduations, family reunions, & so forth,” said one customer. “Wishing you the best for your well-deserved retirement & thank you for ALL you have been to our community!“
Final Week Offerings Before Permanent Closure
As the final days approach, the store has decided to give some discounts and deals on its products. The store also shared an updated schedule for Monday: “Monday, we will be opening at 9:00 instead of 8:00.”
“We will be getting ready for the final sale. All groceries and drinks will be discounted to half price. That Does Not include Meat. Our Ground Chuck will be limited to 5 pounds per person,” added the store.
As the owners of the store step into a new chapter with their retirement, Roberts Meat Market and Deli’s story comes to an end. The closure marks the end of a decades-long presence in the local community.
