Wing Snob, the fast casual restaurant chain that specializes in fresh, made to order chicken wings, boneless wings, and more, is opening another Phoenix-area location.
The restaurant has signed a lease to occupy a space at East Gate Plaza, a new 17-acre development, located at Ellsworth and Elliot Roads in Mesa. Scottsdale-based Diversified Partners is the developer for the $60 million project that will bring a vast array of dining and shopping options to the center.
The restaurant will be operated by franchisees Steve Fields and Matt Hunter, According to Fields, Wing Snob will start construction in the first quarter of 2026, opening toward the end of the second quarter. This will be the second Phoenix-area location for the wing restaurant, which will feature a drive-thru so customers can grab their wing fix on the go.
The Detroit-based restaurant chain is known for its chicken wings that are available tossed in a choice of 16 different sauces and rubs from Buffalo to Nashville to Hot AF. The Phoenix-area locations fry its wings in 100% beef tallow, which is healthier and more flavorful than seed oils.
Wing Snob joins a host of restaurants at East Gate Plaza including Starbucks Coffee, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Señor Taco, Farmer Boys, Zeitouna, Fresh Monkee, Port of Subs, Ono Hawaiian BBQ, Playa Bowls, Kolache Café, according to Connect CRE. In addition to food options, East Gate Plaza will offer dental, medical, and veterinary offices, spas and salons, and a Cambria Hotel by Choice Hotels.
