A new pho spot is headed to Allston, and it appears to be connected to an existing restaurant duo in Greater Boston.

Pho Town plans to open in the former Burrito Loco space at 89 Brighton Ave, according to Boston Restaurant Talk. A “coming soon” sign posted outside the door and shared on the Friends of Boston’s Hidden Restaurants Facebook group lists the Allston location as Pho Town 8.

The name and numbering indicate that the new restaurant is connected to the existing Pho Town locations in Brockton and Medford, listed online as Pho Town 6 and 7, though the link between the eateries has not yet been confirmed.

Benjamin Nguyen, who is listed as the manager in a business entity summary for the restaurant, could not be reached for comment. Pho Town currently has little online presence, so other details about the Allston location remain scarce for now.

However, if the Brockton and Medford menus are any indication of what’s to come, diners can expect a range of Vietnamese favorites such as spring rolls, beef and egg noodle pho, vermicelli bowls, rice plates, and bánh mì sandwiches, along with Vietnamese coffee, boba tea, and smoothies.

No grand opening date has been announced yet, so keep an eye out for updates as the new Pho Town location prepares to open in Allston.
