In addition to offering boat tours, Bayhi’s Landing at The Wharf in Chalmette will soon have a French-Cajun restaurant concept. Located in the dockside complex at 6301 Paris Rd., Maison Courteaux On the Bayou will feature fresh local seafood and Southern-inspired flavors from chef Ashly Courteaux. The restaurant’s Facebook page calls it a “love letter to St. Bernard Parish, a place we are proud to call home.” What Now New Orleans has reached out for more information.

The restaurant will also have unique bayou-side views. The open-air downstairs area will have bar, deck, and table service. The upstairs, enclosed area will be a proper dining room with floor-to-ceiling glass windows.
