Jax Beach Boil Company, “Duval’s Best Pot,” is preparing to launch its first brick-and-mortar location. Born as a home-based caterer, the seafood boil brand will soon be offering a takeout-focused selection at 1131 Third St N in Jacksonville Beach.

That means that, soon, you won’t have to plan a party to enjoy Jax Beach Boil’s Low Country seafood boils, which, as recent coverage by the Jacksonville Business Journal points out, is not so easy to get:

“Though the Low Country reaches from the southeastern corner of South Carolina down through Savannah, Georgia and into Northern Florida, there are few food stores that offer Low Country boils.”

Well, this one does! Jax Beach Boil Co.’s offerings include “Jumbo peel & eat shrimp, spicy andouille sausage, red bliss potatoes, corn on the cob, sweet vidalia onions are layered, seasoned (with our homemade spice) and masterfully cooked together. Served with lemon and our own special cocktail sauce…

The Jax Beach Boil Co. website lays out the ethos behind its approach to seafood like this:

“As the local authority on steamed seafood, we pride ourselves on providing quality, fresh and local ingredients. Our spicy andouille sausage is special ordered from Louisiana – packed with plenty of cajun flavor! Want to add-on extras? You can add items like snow crab legs, clams, mussels, oysters, and lobster tails!”

What Now reached out on Wednesday to co-owner Doran Graham to ask about plans for the opening. Graham was not immediately available for comment.
