Sky Zone, “the active play destination for kids and kids at heart,” announced in late 2024 that it had signed an agreement with Kersan Partners, Inc to open three Sky Zone locations in the Austin market. There are already six Sky Zones in the state of Texas, but these are to be the first in the Austin area. At the time of the announcement, the first opening was planned for the beginning of this year.

This week, What Now came across paperwork submitted to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for a new Sky Zone in Cedar Park, which would open at 1611 Scottsdale Drive. (Google Maps places is this address in Leander.) Construction at the site, which is given an estimated cost of $2 million, would finish on November 1.

Together with attractions like the Freestyle Jump, Skyslam trampoline basketball, Ultimate Dodgeball, the Skyladder, the Skyline, the Warped Wall, the Freeclimb, the Warrior Course, and lots more, Sky Zone also features the Fuel Zone cafe. The Fuel Zone Cafe serves pizzas and other hot foods like Chili Cheese Curly Fries, Chicken Tenders, and Nachos.

What Now reached out this week to Rodney George, partner at Kersan Partners, Inc., to ask about plan for the Cedar Park Sky Zone. George was not immediately available for comment.
