Red Lobster has announced the return of its annual Lobsterfest promotion. It is a limited-time event featuring an expanded lobster-focused menu with new dishes and returning favorites. The celebration began at restaurant locations on January 19.
Red Lobster Kicks Off Lobsterfest
Lobsterfest 2026 is Red Lobster’s annual celebration of its lobster-focused menu. This year’s fest began on January 19 at participating Red Lobster locations nationwide. According to an official report, Lobsterfest is designed to highlight Red Lobster’s core offerings while introducing new menu items centered on lobster.
This year’s Lobsterfest menu introduces several new entrées. Among them is the ‘Create Your Own Lobster Lover’s Dream’, which allows guests to choose two or three lobster selections.
New options available through this format include Lobster Pasta au Gratin and Crispy Dragon Teriyaki Lobster. In addition, guests can select perennial menu items such as Maine lobster tail, rock lobster tail, and lobster and shrimp linguini.
Another new offering is the Lobsterfest Duo, a returning dish last featured nearly two decades ago. The entrée includes two grilled, split Maine lobster tails wrapped around sea scallops, paired with an additional roasted Maine lobster tail and served with two sides.
Red Lobster has also added the Lobsterfest Boil, a lobster-focused take on the popular seafood boil. The dish includes Maine lobster tails, shrimp, corn, and red potatoes, served tableside in a sealed bag with customizable seasoning and spice levels.
Additional Lobsterfest items include lobster flatbread, lobster dip, grilled lobster with shrimp and salmon, surf and turf options, and live Maine lobster, depending on location.
Three New Cocktails Join the Lobsterfest Menu
This year’s celebrations also feature three new cocktails created for the event. These include:
- The Lobstar, a citrus margarita made with Hennessy VS and Grand Marnier.
- Shoreline Spritz, featuring Grey Goose, St-Germain elderflower liqueur, citrus, mint, and sparkling wine.
- Dockside Sipper, made with Casamigos Reposado tequila, lime, honey, and grenadine.
Damola Adamolekun, Chief Executive Officer of Red Lobster, said the Lobsterfest promotion is a key annual event and celebration for the brand, bringing together familiar dishes and new creations in a single menu. “Lobsterfest represents the best of what Red Lobster does: great seafood, great value, and a reason to come back and enjoy it again,” added Damola.
The restaurant chain began its journey in 1968 in Lakeland, Florida. Currently, the restaurant operates more than 500 locations worldwide. The restaurant chain is popularly known for its focus on freshly prepared, responsibly sourced seafood.
With a wide range of new menu items, returning favorites, and limited-time cocktails, Lobsterfest 2026 highlights Red Lobster’s ongoing focus on variety, value, and its signature lobster dishes.
