Celebrity chef Bobby Flay will soon be giving travelers at Orlando International Airport (MCO) a reason to smile.
The Food Network star is bringing his restaurant Bobby’s Burgers by Bobby Flay to MCO. The restaurant will be developed in partnership with OTG Concessions, a major New York-based airport hospitality group. No timeline has been announced regarding the restaurant’s opening.
The menu centers around its burgers made from Certified Angus beef patties grilled to order medium or well done, and served on fresh brioche buns. Favorites include the Crunchburger with American cheese, potato chips, and Bobby’s sauce; and the Nacho Burger with queso, pickled jalapenos, blue corn tortilla chips, and tomato chipotle salsa. Guests can substitute a veggie patty or chicken breast for a custom meal that can meet many dietary needs. Meals can be rounded off with fries, sweet potato fries, or onion rings and complete with a premium milkshake topped with whipped cream.
In a statement, chef Flay shared his pleasure in joining the culinary roster at MCO. “At Bobby’s Burgers, we focus on bold flavors, fresh ingredients and craveable burgers that are indulgent and satisfying at any point in the travel day. We look forward to making every burger a memorable part of the journey as travelers pass through.”
Bobby’s Burgers by Bobby Flay is part of a host of new restaurants coming to MCO (1 Jeff Fuqua Boulevard) as part of a multi-million dollar project to improve passenger safety and comfort, specifically in Terminals A and B. The airport serves nearly 58 million passengers annually and is considered one of the nation’s busiest airports.
