A coffee chain with a cause is making its way to a new DFW storefront. La La Land Kind Cafe has plans to bring its community-driven java mission to Frisco, with work set to start in spring.

The charitable concept is set to bring good deeds and delicious sips to a renovated 11660 Legacy Drive Suite 1996 storefront. According to paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the space will be receiving a new kitchen and restroom, while the dining room will be given new finishes.

Work will begin on the upgrades this March-the 31, to be exact. A specific opening timeline isn’t presently available, however construction is projected to be completed by June 30, suggesting locals may be able to enjoy La La Land Kind Cafe’s good spirited cuisine and brews at some point this summer.

La La Land Kind has proven a luminary in the intersection of hospitality and humanity. The website explains what makes the cafe so special, stating its mission as: “We are a café committed to spreading kindness and serving top-quality coffee and delicious treats. We also offer job opportunities for foster youth.”
