If you’re tired of the same boring nachos topped with a smattering of liquid cheese and some wilted lettuce, get ready to be blown away by Nacho Daddy.
This wildly popular nacho-centric restaurant is coming to Wynwood direct from Las Vegas, opening late April at Society Wynwood (2441 NW Second Avenue).
CEO & co-founder Paul Hymas said Nacho Daddy was created to give nachos the love and respect they deserve. “Nachos are usually an afterthought. They haven’t gotten the attention they deserve.”
To right that wrong, nachos are at the heart of Nacho Daddy’s menu, served hot and topped with everything from cheeseburger to chicken tinga. Want to really be a nacho kingpin? Order them smothered with filet mignon or go big with the surf and turf nachos — topped with filet mignon, shrimp, black bean salsa, Cheddar & Jack cheese, white queso, ranchero sauce, avocado lime salsita and cilantro on house-made white corn chips.
Nacho Daddy also offers vegan nachos topped with housemade plant-based queso. “We’ve had vegan options since 2010,” says Hymas who adds, “once vegans taste our queso we’ve got them.  They’re hooked.” Nacho Daddy also offers flaming fajitas, wings, quesadillas, Mexican pizzas, and more.
Nacho Daddy’s bar is a great place to watch your favorite game and relax with some margaritas. If you’re looking for a memorable TikTok moment, try the Scorpion Shot — a shot of Cenote tequila with a lime wedge and a tiny, real scorpion. Down the shot, eat the scorpion, and you’ll be rewarded with the shot glass as a souvenir.
