Hudson Crossing, a new 298-unit luxury apartment community in Katy developed by Rockefeller Group and Pelican Builders, is nearing completion. The project offers a luxurious experience and amenities focused on comfort and convenience, including a pool, fitness center, and more.

Hudson Crossing Apartments Begin Pre-Leasing in Katy

Rockefeller Group, a leading Manhattan-based real estate firm, has partnered with Houston-based Pelican Builders to develop the luxury apartment community Hudson Crossing. The 298-unit apartment community in Katy, Texas, is now pre-leasing as construction nears completion.

Katy has seen steady population and job growth in recent years due to its closeness to the Energy Corridor.

The prime location offers access to major highways and an expanding mix of retail and dining options. These factors have helped position Katy as a sought-after residential destination within the greater Houston metro area.

Philip Croker, senior managing director of Rockefeller Group’s Southwest Region, said the development reflects the company’s long-term strategy of investing in high-growth suburban markets across Texas. He added, “Partnering with Pelican Builders allows us to bring a high level of quality and local expertise to this project.”

Timm Wooten, Development Associate of Rockefeller Group’s Southwest Region, also shared, “We are delivering a living experience that matches the quality of life residents are already finding here.”

The community will offer a range of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments featuring open floor plans and contemporary interiors designed by MP Studio.

Residences will include shaker-style cabinetry with under-cabinet lighting, quartz countertops, tile backsplashes, stainless steel appliances, and more.

Additional in-unit features include walk-in closets, full-size washers and dryers, keyless entry systems, and built-in Wi-Fi.

According to the development team, Derek Darnell, President of Pelican Builders, “Hudson Crossing brings together thoughtful design, quality finishes, and a location that offers access to employment, retail, and major transportation corridors. We’re proud to collaborate with Rockefeller Group on a community that reflects how the market continues to evolve.”

The amenities at Hudson Crossing are designed to support both comfort and convenience. Multiple planned features are also included, like a resort-style swimming pool, a fitness center, and a resident clubhouse with coworking and social areas. The community will also offer on-site management and controlled-access entry. First move-ins are expected in spring 2026.

This project marks another step in Rockefeller Group’s continued expansion across the Texas market.
