Crust Pizza Co., “Home of the Chicago-Style Thin Crust Pizza,” is expanding in Central Texas with a new location planned for Bastrop. With 36 locations currently in operation in Louisiana and Texas, one of the brand’s next stops will be at 837 State Highway 71, Suite 158.

A recent Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing shows construction on the new Crust Pizza running from February 16 to May 18, with an estimated cost of $565,000.

Crust Pizza Co.’s pizzas come in varieties like the Spartan (light, crispy, and full of flavor! Our Spartan is a low carb, higher protein, delicious way to enjoy pizza a little differently in the new year), the Big Don’s (Canadian bacon, pepperoni, pork sausage, salami, beef, crispy bacon with mozzarella and cheddar), and the Mr. Potato Head (fresh baked potato slices with Alfredo sauce, fresh green onions, bacon cheddar and mozzarella cheese).

These are served alongside a selection of pasta dishes like Blackened Chicken Capri and Fettuccine Primavera, Flatbread Sandwiches like the Baked Italian and the Meatball Sub, and more.

“Crust Pizza Co. is the vision of Clint Price and Mark Rasberry, a growth-oriented pair who beyond their lifelong friendship, decided to establish a partnership that unites their professional backgrounds and love for pizza,” says the Crust Pizza Co. website. “Quality is very important at Crust, so there are some things we do differently that set us apart. All of our cheeses are shredded from block form in each location daily; our cheese never comes pre-shredded in a bag. Our dough is made fresh in house at each location multiple times throughout the day.”
