Local franchisors of the teriyaki chain are continuing to expand in the state capital.
The newest Teriyaki Madness Columbus location will arrive at the TruePointe retail project in Hilliard, from the city’s Chamber of Commerce website. The restaurant is one of the tenants in the plaza planned for the east side of the city, 4457 Condor Drive. Franchisee Smit Patel told What Now Columbus the opening date will be sometime in Q3 or Q4 of this year.
The chain serves made-to-order bowls, appetizers and sides at their locations. Popular options include the chicken teriyaki and spicy chicken teriyaki bowls, eggrolls, chicken potstickers and crab rangoons. Patel said the menu will be the same like other locations in Columbus.
TruePointe is a major new development project with new shops, restaurants and housing in Hilliard. Also coming to the development is a concept from the group Culinary Collectives, led by chef Derek Bush. This unnamed restaurant will serve comfort food for the building, and a coffee shop addition is also in the plans.
What Now Columbus previously covered Teriyaki Madness expanding to new territories including New Albany. This was under the same team of franchisors. Like these locations, he is working with his brother, Dhruv Patel, Anshu Garg and Parth Pandya to operate the new restaurant. The company has around 200 locations internationally, expanding into other markets including San Antonio and Central California.
Construction has not started on the restaurant yet, but Patel said this will start soon. For more information on Teriyaki Madness and the menu, visit their website.
