Yonutz, the doughnut and ice cream shop that’s famous for its smashed donut sandwiches, is opening a new location in Miramar.

Yonutz will open at the Fountains of Miramar, at 2933 SW 160th Avenue this spring, operated by franchise partner Rashid Elghoul

Yonutz founder, Tony Bahu, tells What Now Miami that Yonutz is growing its brand in South Florida, which is home to the first ever Yonutz shop, in Sunrise. “We’re going to be opening several more locations in the next year or two. We have an area developer and we’re looking for the right places.” Bahu said that when the Miramar location was presented to him, he jumped on it.

The new location will also be home to Yoclawz, a claw game arcade inside the shop, making it the perfect stop for families.

Yonutz offers freshly baked doughnuts in a variety of unique and classic flavors such as apple pie, birthday, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, strawberry sprinkles, dulce de leche, maple bacon, and more. Customers can also order breakfast sandwiches made on either a croissant or a doughnut, and shakes.

Its most unique and popular item is the Smashed Donut — a doughnut filled with ice cream and “smashed” in a panini press. The resulting combination of warm doughnut with a cool, creamy filling is undeniably delicious.

Yonutz also offers catering services and can even make custom Smashed Donuts at parties and events.
