California fast-casual chain Bushfire Kitchen is planning a new location in Northridge, according to a release. It will open at 19535 W. Nordhoff Street, Suite 50, this fall, taking a 2,000-square-foot space with an outdoor patio in The Shops at Symmetry. This restaurant opening will mark the 13th location for the brand and the second in Los Angeles County, joining an existing location in Long Beach that opened last July.
“We’re really excited to open in Northridge and continue growing in LA County,” CEO Oliver Barwin said in the release. “What sets us apart is that we focus on delicious, high-quality food that makes you feel good. Our menu is built for real life — whether you’re craving a burger and fries one day or a hearty veggie bowl the next, and we think there’s a lot of people here looking for that balance.”
Bushfire Kitchen offers made-from-scratch American dishes, including bowls, burgers, sandwiches, salads and empanadas. Popular menu items include the En Fuego Burger, the Chimichurri Tri Tip Bowl and the Tuscan Chicken Sandwich. The beverage program features beer, wine, teas and lemonades.
Bushfire Kitchen focuses on using clean ingredients, including cage-free chicken, grass-fed beef and sustainable seafood. There are also gluten-free and plant-based menu options available.
The brand launched in 2012 and has been expanding throughout Southern California. In addition to a location in Long Beach, it has spots in Del Mar, Eastvale, Carlsbad, Menifee, Mission Viejo, Rancho Cucamonga, Riverside, Temecula and Brea. There is also a location heading to Rancho Bernardo.
