“Developer [KLA Capital] has quietly built a sizable footprint in DTLV with more than a dozen residential communities and commercial spaces,” said an Instagram post published by DTLV on Instagram on January 15. “With the Distrikt, KLA turns the volume up. Slated to open early this year in the [Arts District], The Distrikt will feature a collection of food and beverage concepts housed in buildings modeled after shipping containers, blending industrial design with communal energy.”

And the buzz is already building.

“Amazing! Can’t wait to visit!” says one comment. “Shop local, support your neighbors, and be kind.”

Among the promised concepts are “an Irish pub, a Latin cafe, a boba shop, rooftop bars and a mall favorite.”

As it happens, this week What Now came across licensing paperwork submitted to the City of Las Vegas by Chipper Otter, LLC for The Lucky Otter, the Irish Pub planned for The Distrikt. It would open at 10 W Wyoming Ave.

“The Lucky Otter is an authentic Irish pub nestled in the heart of Las Vegas’s arts district,” says the KLA Capital website. “Showcasing a wide range of Irish spirits—including whiskey, gin, vodka, and even tequila—the pub also highlights classic Irish brews like Guinness and Smithwick’s, along with a locally crafted Irish red. Guests can enjoy nightly traditional music sessions performed by local Irish musicians, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere. At the center of the pub, a stone fireplace with bench seating and a cozy snug offers a warm, inviting space to unwind. The Lucky Otter brings a true taste of Ireland to the vibrant energy of Las Vegas.”

What Now reached out to co-owner Kevin Ott to ask about plans for the Lucky Otter’s launch. Ott was not immediately available for comment.
