A beloved DFW chain is getting ready to help Fort Worth diners satisfy their late night pizza cravings. Zio Al’s Pizza & Pasta has filed papers for a new area location, where it will be serving up fresh, hot slices all day and well into the night.

The pizzeria will be flipping its pies in a renovated storefront located at 5735 S Hulen Street. The paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation about the eatery states that Zio Al’s will have a dedicated 1,840 square feet of space.

Fort Worth diners starving for a slice of the chain’s pizza will likely be able to enjoy a bite before the year is out. Work is set to begin on Zio Al’s on March 1 and is projected to be completed by August 1. While this does not offer an absolute certainty for an opening it does suggest that Zio Al’s will likely be customer-ready by late summer or early fall.

Zio Al’s has been a DFW-favorite since it burst on the dining scene in 2010. The eatery has earned an ardent fan-base thanks to its commitment to serving freshly made cuisine, prepared with quality ingredients. Equally appealing: Zio Al’s stays open until 3 am, ensuring customers can enjoy a delicious pie, no matter how late the cravings hit.

Zio Al’s currently has 12 locations open and operational across the greater Dallas area. In addition to a wide range of pizzas-including the ever-popular “create your own” option-the concept features chicken wings and tenders, subs, pastas, calzones, and salads.
