Break out your dancing boots, Orlando, because a new country music palace is coming to town.

Opry Entertainment Group and singer Luke Combs just announced that Category 10, a country-themed entertainment venue, is opening at CityWalk at Universal Orlando Resort.

When it opens in late 2027, this will be the third Category 10, joining the original Nashville location which opened in 2024, and a Las Vegas location set to open later this year. The name Category 10 refers to Combs’s multi-platinum hit, “Hurricane”. The 33,000 square-foot, three-story Orlando location will include experiential areas influenced by the musician’s music and passions.

In a statement, Combs expressed that he’s looking forward to the project: “I know Orlando is a worldwide destination spot, so I’m super pumped and humbled that we’re getting to open a location there. My wife is from Florida, so we’re both super excited about this. I am glad to be bringing our brand of first-class service and awesome tunes to the Sunshine State.”

This isn’t the first time Opry Entertainment Group has partnered with a musician in Orlando. It also owns and operates Blake Shelton’s Ole Red restaurant, bar and live music venue. “Country music is reaching more people nationally and internationally than ever before, driven in large part by superstars like Luke Combs,” said Colin Reed, Executive Chairman of OEG parent company Ryman Hospitality Properties.
