Outta Sight Pizza, a popular pizzeria known for its long lunch lines and community focus, is expanding into a new bar concept called Reggie & Maude’s in San Francisco at 460 Larkin Street.
The new bar will move into the former home of Pomeroy Bar & Grill, a space that has also historically operated as Harrington’s Pub and Shovels before 2025, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. While the lease has not been finalized and the opening date is still unclear, this will be the latest from owners Peter Dorrance and Eric Ehler.
Outta Sight Pizza first opened in the Tenderloin in 2022 after Dorrance and Ehler ran pop-ups at Fig & Thistle in Hayes Valley. The restaurant quickly became a neighborhood favorite and expanded with a second location in Chinatown in January 2025. Both locations have been praised for long lines at lunch, consistent quality, and a connection to the community.
The Reggie & Maude’s concept is named in honor of Reggie Gamble and Maude Spencer, early leaders in San Francisco’s sex workers’ rights movement. Dorrance and Ehler say the bar will continue their commitment to the Tenderloin, reflecting the neighborhood’s culture and the owners’ desire to create a space locals can enjoy.
The menu at Reggie & Maude’s will include classic bar fare, with burgers, martinis, and other top-tier offerings at approachable prices. Dorrance and Ehler describe the concept as simple, delicious, and designed to appeal to a broad audience while remaining rooted in the Tenderloin community.
“Surprise! Coming hopefully sooner than later – details to follow,” the owners shared on Instagram. “But yeah, pretty simple! It’s a bar with really delicious, yet simple food. Approachable and for everyone. We love the TL and want you to love it with us.”
