A new restaurant concept is preparing to open on Floramar Terrace in New Port Richey. This week, What Now examined plan review paperwork submitted by Floramar 1 LLC showing a new restaurant, Bamboo Charlies, opening at 4930 Floramar Terrace. That address is shared by the HGD Floramar Citgo station.

Curious about this curiously named brand, What Now reached out on Thursday to co-owner John Molder to ask about plans for Bamboo Charlies.

Molder said it’s still too soon to comment on the Bamboo Charlies news. “We’re beginning to get some things submitted,” Molder said.

What Now is expecting an update in the coming weeks, but, for the moment, we will have to wait on the details about Bamboo Charlies’ opening timeline and menu selection.

Opening in the Floramar Terrace location, Bamboo Charlies will be one of several other restaurant options in the neighborhood, which is also home to an IHOP and to Seafire Grill.

Stay tuned for more details!
