Hungry travelers on the move will soon have a fresh way to sate their hunger. Auntie Anne’s is opening a new outpost at the DFW Airport, with work set to begin later this summer according to official permitting documents.

The wildly popular snack haven is setting up its newest location at 2141 South International Parkway, Terminal A Pier. The paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation pertaining to the storefront states that work will begin on the 713 square foot space on June 1 of this year and should wrap by August 14-suggesting intrepid travelers may be able to enjoy a quick, delicious, salty pick-me-up by late summer or early fall.

This will, by no means, be the pretzel maven’s first DFW airport storefront. The chain already has six locations open across the transportation mecca; however the brand’s enduring popularity certainly supports the idea that another location will be more than welcome.

Since its founding in Pennsylvania in 1988, Auntie Anne’s has become synonymous with “pretzels” in the minds of many diners. The company now has more than 1,900 locations dedicated to serving fresh, delicious soft pretzels open and operational worldwide.
