D.C.’s Urban Roast is Coming to West Palm Beach

Urban Roast, the D.C. gathering spot that serves as both a daytime coffee spot and an evening cocktail lounge, is opening a West Palm Beach location.

The company applied for permits with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation for a restaurant at 201 Datura Street, confirming the news on its website. An Instagram, post announced, “Urban Roast West Palm Beach is coming soon — where upscale ambiance meets vibrant cocktails, curated cuisine, and DJ-driven energy. Get ready to elevate your nights.” The communal spot, which will feature fire pits. cocktails, coffee, and more, is scheduled to open spring 2026.

Owned by the Azzouz Group, Urban Roast offers a dual experience for its guests. During the day, Urban Roast served gourmet coffee and all-day breakfast every day until 3 p.m. Offerings include egg and cheese croissants, Belgian waffles, and shareable breakfast boards. In the evening, Urban Roast turns into a convivial place for cocktails and shared plates such as mini crab cakes, chicken tenders, cheese boards, and vegan boards. In addition to cocktails, Urban Roast offers “bar-ista” libations that combine its coffee expertise with the art of mixology. Guests can order espresso martinis, whiskey chais, cold brew old fashioned, mocha-ritas, and more.
