Gott’s Roadside will open its Los Angeles flagship on March 6, 2026, at The Original Farmers Market. It will operate seven days a week from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm.

The restaurant idea was inspired by the dream to bring life back to a small roadway burger shop from 1949. Brothers Joel and Duncan Gott created Gott’s Roadside in 1999. First initiated in the middle of the Napa Valley in St. Helena, the idea became popular in the Bay Area.

Clay Walker, President of Gott’s Roadside, called The Original Farmers Market a natural fit for the brand’s Los Angeles debut. “It’s a place that’s woven into LA’s food history, and we’re honored to become part of that story and share our wine country hospitality with Angelenos and longtime Farmers Market visitors.”

The opening plans were announced back in May 2025. Located next to the Market’s West Patio, Gott’s Roadside has open interiors, common seating arrangements, and a large outside patio that aims at fostering casual groupings among families, tourists, and the locals. The location is designed by BCV Architecture & Interiors and built by Terra Nova Industries.

Beyond its design, Gott’s is known for its focus on premium, locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant was recognized as a James Beard America’s Classic and now operates multiple locations across Northern California.

The restaurant focuses on rebranding American food with a California-style touch. The menu at Gott’s Roadside reflects the vision of its founder, Joel Gott. It is curated by the Vice President of Culinary, Chef Jennifer Rebman.

Beef is supplied by Cream Co. Meats, poultry by Red Bird Farms, seafood by Pacific Fresh Fish Co., freshly baked bread by Larder Baking Co., and vegetables are sourced from California growers.
