Tacos & Tequila Cantina is coming to the Villages.
The restaurant is opening this spring at 7016 Central Lake Drive at Eastport Town Center, a new 250-acre mixed-use development that’s designed as a central gathering spot for both locals and visitors to the Villages. In addition to Tacos & Tequila, Eastport features a host of other restaurants and shops, a recreation center, the Bellaire executive golf course, nightly entertainment and activities, and the new Hotel Eastport.
Naples-based Tacos & Tequila, led by Kelly Musico, has signed an operating agreement with HMC Hospitality Group to expand the brand. Currently, there are four locations in Naples and Fort Myers.
The restaurant offers a selection of Mexican favorites, specializing in tacos like the “Mom’s”, an Ortega-style hard shell taco with seasoned ground beef, shredded lettuce, tomato, and cheddar jack; the “Buffalo” with crispy fried chicken, Frank’s RedHot sauce, shredded lettuce, green onion, cheddar jack, celery, and cilantro-lime ranch; and the “Cheeseburger” with ground sirloin, shredded lettuce, tomato, pickles, queso blanco, and cheddar jack. There’s also a great tequila program with more than two dozen selections, along with ten different specialty margaritas to choose from.
Tacos & Tequila Cantina serves lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch, and offers both a regular and a late night happy hour.
