Syrup-covered waffles are on the way to the town off of U.S. Route 23.
The Scioto Post recently reported on a new Waffle House location coming to Circleville this year. There is no address yet, but it will be across from the Buffalo Wild Wings on Crites Road. An official opening date has also not yet been made public.
Waffle House has over 1,900 locations across the country, with over 80 restaurants in Ohio alone. The closest locations to the upcoming Circleville Waffle House are in Groveport and Lancaster. Like other restaurants, this one is expected to be open 24/7.
The chain has extensive breakfast options, with waffle flavors including peanut butter chip, chocolate chip and pecan. Their T-bone and eggs breakfast is a popular option, which goes well with sides like hashbrowns and biscuits. Menus do not vary by location.
The area the Waffle House is located at has chains including KFC, Bob Evans and Wendy’s. This is just north of the Walmart on Sperry Drive. What Now Columbus has reached out to representatives from Waffle House for the construction timeline and is awaiting comment.
