Costa Mesa pizza spot Folks Pizzeria is bringing a location to Culver City this spring. It will open in April in the space formerly home to Lustig at 3273 Helms Ave., according to a social media announcement this month.

Joey Booterbaugh and Chloe Tran opened Folks Pizzeria in 2019. The brand offers 14-inch pizzas such as margherita, fennel sausage, pancetta and potato, and soppressata. The brand also serves salads, shareables and natural wines.

The Culver City location will mark the first expansion for the brand.

What Now Los Angeles has reached out to the ownership team for additional details on the forthcoming location.
