A Summerville coffee shop will rebrand under new ownership this winter.
Mike and Janice Taylor, the former owners of Cuppa Manna, are handing the business over to new owners David and Amy Boersma so they can spend more time with their family and grandchildren, according to Cuppa Manna’s website.
“David and Amy are excited to bring fresh energy and excitement. In the coming weeks and months you might see some changes, but all of them are aimed at giving you the absolute best experience!” the website reads.
The Boersmas will rename the shop StillWild Coffee Co. The cafe draws inspiration from a season of rest, which sparked their coffee journey and now reflects their blend of rest and adventure.
“After what had been an exceptionally busy year filled with changes in all areas of our lives, we decided to commit to 3 months of being intentional about rest, and not busying ourselves unnecessarily. We were not only recharged, but we connected more with each other, with our kids, and with friends. We found fresh vision for our future and a realignment of our priorities,” the website reads.
The vision also nods to Psalm 23.
“It’s about connection, restoration, and safety. Rest from anxiety, rest from the battles of life–in the very midst of those battles! I have personally experienced this in my own life and we hope and pray that with our little coffee shop we can provide an atmosphere where you can experience the same,” the website reads.
StillWild Coffee Co. will roast its beans in-house to highlight natural flavors without additives. The cafe will also offer a curated food menu designed to pair with its drinks, featuring fresh ingredients, simple preparation and scratch-made options.
In addition to its coffee and food, the shop will offer merchandise such as shirts, hats and sweatshirts.
The transition and grand reopening is set for Saturday, March 7, pending final preparations. Follow StillWild Coffee Co. on Instagram and Facebook or visit the website for updates.
