Sycamore Brewing’s path forward has finally been determined. It will reopen this week as Club West Brewing under new ownership, according to business filings and Axios Charlotte.

The brewery’s future has been up in the air since December, when former co-owner Justin Brigham was arrested on child sex charges. Since then, co-owner Sarah Taylor has been evaluating the future of the business, choosing to shutter Sycamore’s taproom on Jan. 5.

Now, Taylor is selling the business to Sycamore’s director of operations Brad Bergman, who will take full ownership of Club West.

The spot will reopen at 2151 Hawkins St. in South End. What Now Charlotte has reached out to ownership for additional details on the rebrand and what to expect.
