Nobibi, a popular brand known for its creative Asian-inspired desserts, is expanding with a second location in the Dublin/San Ramon area.
The company’s new store is currently under development, according to Brian Nguyen, Managing Principal at OneV Capital. The expansion is part of Nobibi’s growth strategy, which includes building a presence in fast-growing, high-traffic communities. Customers can expect a continuation of the brand’s signature offerings, including its visually striking gold-leaf ice cream and fruit-forward creations, alongside popular drinks like Brown Sugar Boba and Lychee Dragon Fruit.
Shilpy Kamboj and Ajay “AJ” Arora, franchise partners of the Hayward store, credit their background in the tech industry for their ability to streamline operations and create an efficient, customer-focused experience. Their innovative approach to staffing, inventory management, and customer service has helped the Hayward location thrive.
“The response from the community has been incredible,” said Shilpy Kamboj. “It’s been amazing to see so many people gathering together to enjoy our desserts.”
The upcoming Dublin/San Ramon location will be another strategic expansion in the Bay Area, continuing the brand’s focus on building a loyal following by offering high-quality, Instagram-worthy frozen treats in a modern boutique setting. Nobibi’s vibrant design and fun, visually driven menu make it a perfect fit for the area’s growing consumer base.
This new location in Dublin/San Ramon is just one of several new stores planned for 2026, as Nobibi aims to expand its footprint across California. The brand’s creative approach to frozen desserts has made it a standout in the competitive dessert category, and with locations also planned for Temecula, Las Vegas, and more.
“With experienced operators like Shilpy and AJ, we have seen firsthand the impact of combining great systems with an exciting dessert concept,” Ron Duong, Managing Director of Nobibi, said in the news release. “We’re thrilled to support their expansion into the Bay Area and beyond.”
