Muck & Fuss, the Downtown New Braunfels favorite, is embarking on opening a San Antonio location this fall. According to a permit, the new Muck & Fuss will open at 2422 N. Loop 1604 West.
The permit also details that construction was slated to start back in August of 2024 and wrap up at the end of last year. MYSA reports, according to a recent news release, that the $4.5 million project is expected to wrap up by September 15, but the company has yet to announce an official grand opening date.
“New Braunfels is just a short drive away, and bringing Muck & Fuss to the San Antonio market has always been a dream of ours,” Muck & Fuss owner Terry Muckenfuss said in the press release.
“San Antonio is a city rooted in family and culture, and that’s exactly what we celebrate at Muck & Fuss. We’re excited to share more details as we get closer to announcing the grand opening.”
Muck & Fuss first opened in downtown New Braunfels in 2018. Located next to the historic Prince Solms Inn, which owners Terry and Celina Muckenfuss recently restored, the restaurant focuses on gourmet burgers, Southern staples, and a large craft beer selection.
What Now San Antonio reached out to the Muckenfuss to find out more details about this exciting new development for our readers, but did not hear back by the time of this publication.

The Muck & Fuss menu includes a variety of good eats, specials, craft beers, cocktails, shakes, and desserts, and there’s even a mutt & fuss dog menu.
Muck & Fuss’ food offerings include an extensive appetizers menu, burgers, dips, speciality fries, salads, sandwiches, and tacos.
The 8,812 square-foot Muck & Fuss set to open in San Antonio this year is anticipated to open at 2422 N. Loop 1604 West by this fall.
