The Passion Restaurant Group, the Florida-based hospitality company behind beloved restaurants Crazy about You and Delores, But You Can Call Me Lolita is planning a new restaurant at 1000 S Miami Avenue — the former home of Pasta & Juliet.

According to the South Florida Business Journal, a banner has been placed on the site with clues: The banner, which looks like a crate being torn open, features the words:  “Allegro Ma Non Troppo” which is the name of an Italian animated musical directed by Bruno Bozzetto in the 1970s. Translated, the phrase means, “fast, but not too much”.

A search of the United States Trademark Office website shows that the Passion Restaurant Group’s founder, Carlos Galan Alcazar, applied for a trademark for the name Allegro Ma Non Troppo for the use of restaurant and bar services on February 26, 2026, which is still pending.

A menu, further information, or an opening date has not been announced at this time.
