Japanese restaurant Izakaya Osen in Silverlake is planning a relocation from its current space at 2903 Sunset Blvd to 2861 Sunset Blvd, according to a recent Instagram announcement. The announcement displays the new space as currently under construction.
Izakaya Osen, which also has a location in Irvine, serves kushiyaki, sushi, sashimi, bowls and a variety of seafood and steak offerings.
“Izakaya Osen is more than just a restaurant; it’s an ode to Japanese culture and cuisine,” the website states. “As a traditional Japanese bar and eatery, we’ve cultivated a welcoming environment where friends and family come together to enjoy an assortment of alcoholic beverages paired with flavorful, affordable small plates. From the savory kushiyaki skewers to exquisite sushi creations, every dish is designed to offer a relaxed and authentic dining experience.”
The Izakaya Osen team confirmed with What Now Los Angeles that construction is underway. They hope to complete work next month, though an exact opening timeline for the new space has not been announced yet.
The Osen Group also has a new restaurant in the works in Orange County at Canopy at Great Park.
