Fogo de Chão has opened a new location in Buford, marking the Brazilian steakhouse chain’s third restaurant in Georgia. The opening comes with a menu that includes delicious treats and special offers.
Fogo de Chão Expands Georgia Presence with New Buford Location

Fogo de Chão has opened its doors in Buford on March 30, 2026, the restaurant is located near the Mall of Georgia. To mark the opening, the restaurant will donate 10% of its first week’s sales to the North Gwinnett Co-Op.
Plans for the new restaurant were revealed last year, when Fogo de Chão filed a building permit application. The restaurant was designed in partnership with the global design agency Harrison. For nearly 50 years, the brand has specialized in churrasco-style dining, now introducing the concept to Buford.
“We’re thrilled to continue our growth in Georgia with our new location near the Mall of Georgia,” said Barry McGowan, Chief Executive Officer of Fogo de Chão. “It’s exciting to bring our immersive dining experience to Buford’s diverse and growing population. We look forward to welcoming both new guests and loyal Fogo fans to discover the culinary art of Churrasco in a space that honors the rich traditions of Southern Brazil.”
General Manager Leandro Benacchio will lead the team at the Buford location. The restaurant is expected to create about 100 local jobs.
Unique Dining Experience

Fogo de Chão features an open churrasco grill where guests can view the unique experience. Gaucho chefs will demonstrate the culinary art of Churrasco, preparing and carving meats over an open flame. Chefs carve high-quality cuts tableside, a hallmark of the brand’s dining experience.
Along with this wholesome experience, guests can also enjoy the Market Table display. A lively indoor Bar Fogo will make Fogo de Chão an ideal place for all-day happy hour. Private dining spaces will also be available for guests to reserve for any occasion.

The menu features fire-roasted meats like the picanha, ribeye, and lamb chops. It offers a range of selections and prices that are made to fit every occasion. It includes a full churrasco meal, weekday lunches starting at $18, weekend brunch, and all-day happy hour deals.
Guests can opt for options like indulgent cuts to enhance their meals with a 20-oz Wagyu New York Strip. The menu also includes options for a variety of dietary preferences. The restaurant offers catering, to-go, and group and private dining options.
The opening in Buford strengthens Fogo de Chão’s presence in Georgia. It also introduces its signature churrasco dining to a new audience. The mix of traditional flavors and menu options brings a diverse option to the local dining scene.
