Burger franchise Wayback Burgers has a new location on the way to Kennesaw. It will open at 2274 North Cobb Parkway this fall, marking the franchise’s 13th location in the state, according to a release.
Husband-and-wife team Zakaria Dhaly and Mahmuda Rumi will operate the 1,606-square-foot restaurant.
“When we began exploring franchise opportunities, Wayback Burgers immediately stood out to us because of the exceptional quality and flavor of its menu,” Rumi said in the release. “From the first moment we tried Wayback Burgers, we recognized an opportunity to bring a high-quality burger option to our neighborhood. We’re excited to bring Wayback’s outstanding food and service to the Kennesaw community very soon.”
The space will feature a modern, bright atmosphere with glass windows looking into the kitchen to allow guests to see the food preparation process. Seating options will include upholstered banquettes, booths and floating community tables.
Wayback Burgers is known for made-to-order burgers such as the “Cheeeesy,” a double patty with four slices of melted American cheese and a buttered bun. Other offerings include cheesesteaks, crispy and grilled chicken sandwiches, veggie burgers, salads and hand-dipper milkshakes.
There is also a location on the way to Locust Grove, slated to open later this year.
