A bar and grille is coming soon to a lake near Akron.

The owners of Dockside Grille have recently revealed the new concept is coming to 3719 S Main Street in Akron. This comes from hospitality professionals John Logsdon and Steve Baker. The team is aiming to open the restaurant in May.

Logsdon and Baker operate Radius Hospitality, which specializes in hotel services around the country. A few hotels the team helps operate include Comfort Suites Hartville-North Canton and Comfort Inn & Suites Dover. They also manage Twenty/20 Taphouse in Canton.

“Together, along with their wives, Marcy and Jen, they’re creating a casual, fun, and welcoming lakefront dining experience that’s sure to become a local favorite,” says a recent post from the owners.

No menu has been released, but from recent pictures guests can expect dishes like steak with potatoes and asparagus, pastas and cooked fish like shrimp and perch. As it is also a bar, beer, wine and cocktails are to be expected.

The restaurant is at the dock of Cottage Grove Lake, just north of Sandbar and the Woody’s breakfast spot. The address was formerly The Ramp, an American and Italian bar and grill concept that closed sometime last year. This is on the south side of Akron, technically in Green city limits.
