What Now reported in January on plans for Killer Burger, the burger chain “Dedicated To Delivering The Ultimate Burger Experience…”, to open a new location in Austin, at 3500 E Parmer Lane. The brand has two locations in the San Antonio market, and as its continues to expand, the Austin area will be getting more Killer Burger, too.

“We’re under construction in North Austin in the East Village area,” founder TJ Southard told What Now on Wednesday. “Then we’ll be getting ready to open in Manor. We’re popping up where we can; we’ve been rapidly growing and growing.”
The menu features ten different burgers, including the Jose Mendoza (A green chile-laced flavor bomb that brings a smoky, melty hit in every bite; Bacon, Roasted Green Chiles, Monterey Jack, House Sauce, Grilled Onion, Pickles) and the Peanut Butter Pickle Bacon (Sweet, salty, tangy, and weird in all the best ways; the burger you never knew you were missing; Bacon, Peanut Butter Sauce, House Sauce, Mayo, Grilled Onion, Pickles). These sandwiches all come in one of three sizes. There are also chicken sandwiches, milkshakes, and vegetarian options.
“100% natural beef seared to perfection and always served up with bacon,” says a description on the Killer Burger website’s About page. “Home of the Peanut Butter Pickle Bacon burger, we also serve up the American Classic and other unique ingredient hamburgers – voted best 5 years in a row for a reason.
