What Now reported in November 2025 on plans for ForeLand Beer to reopen its former Portland location. Those plans have now come to fruition: the brewer’s Portland pub is open Wed-Sun from 3-9 p.m. at 2511 SE Belmont St.

And now, it appears that ForeLand Beer is hardly skipping a beat before preparing to expand again. A submitted liquor license application shows plans for ForeLand Beer to open a brewery at 240 N Broadway, in the Lloyd District.

The brewery’s operating hours are listed as 3-10 p.m. Monday through Friday and 12:00-10 pm. on weekends. There’s restaurant seating for 20, and outdoor seating 16.

“ForeLand Beer is dedicated to the art and craft of brewing,” says the ForeLand Beer website. “We find beauty and draw inspiration from the diverse natural world around us and hope that we can translate that into the beer we make.”

Currently on tap in ForeLand Beer’s McMinnville taproom are brews like Ol’ Swagger Barleywine (A rich and sweet English-style Barleywine brewed in honor of our favorite “Do everything guy” Anders who swaggers in and puts us kids to school when we have a question. Big notes of dried fruits, toasted caramel, and (good) fruitcake), and West Coast Cowpoke IPA (West Coast IPA collab with Josh, our favorite cowpoke from Sunriver Brewing, that is bursting at the seams with all things Citra. Seriously, we used every advanced hop product out there along with some great T90s to push the limits of the hop. Dry-hopped with even more Citra and Idaho 7 to accentuate the fruit. Dripping with oil but easy drinking. A beer brewed with friends is always a good time but even better when the beer exceeds already high expectations!).

What Now out on Friday to Managing Partner David Sanguinetti to ask about plans for a new Portland brewery. Sanguinetti was not immediately available for comment.

Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available!
