The Lighthouse Seafood, a family-owned restaurant at 1212 Fredericksburg Rd, San Antonio, TX, is preparing to shut down.
Through a Facebook post, the restaurant team shared the heartbreaking news of closure. The team shared, “Happy Easter from our family to yours.” We will be open Monday and Tuesday. Those will be our last days in operation.”
The restaurant, which opened in 2016, has been a seafood staple in San Antonio’s dining scene. Fan favorites included fried shrimp, fish sandwiches, and clam chowder. It featured counter service and a small outdoor dining area. The restaurant offered a comfortable atmosphere with beautiful hand-painted murals of the ocean.

After the closure announcement, fans flooded social media with messages recalling their favorite meals and memories at the restaurant.
