Company Overview
Direct Marketing Solutions is a Portland-based marketing services firm established in 1982. The company offers direct mail and digital marketing solutions to enable businesses to target specific audiences for better performance.
The company serves clients in industries such as financial services, telecommunications, healthcare, and retail. Its features comprise analytics of data, printing, logistics of mailing, and multichannel marketing campaigns aimed at creating leads and customer involvement.
DMS has production centers in Portland, Oregon; Freedom, Pennsylvania; and Niles, Illinois. On February 10, 2026, DMS announced the acquisition of Johnson & Quin, a 150-year old family-owned direct marketing company. The acquisition will merge the strengths of the two businesses to increase the national scope of data-driven omnichannel marketing solutions.
Direct Marketing Solutions CEO Luke Teboul said, “Johnson & Quin brings an amazing, talented team and a legacy of excellence that aligns perfectly with our culture and values. Together, we’re building an industry powerhouse that delivers even greater impact for our clients.”
The merger is likely to increase production capacity, services, and logistics with the introduction of a Midwest production plant.
DMS filed the WARN notices to comply with federal and state regulations, ensuring employees receive notice ahead of the layoffs. This allows employees to seek retraining and other job opportunities.
