Barnett Performance site at 465 Memorial Drive has piqued Atlantic Realty Partners’ interest.
UPDATE: A 238-unit multifamily development is planned to replace the property.
Rumors have circulated since late last year that the Barnett Performance property at 465 Memorial Drive – between Six Feet Under and where Larkin on Memorial will be – has been sold.
Now, it appears that Principal and Director of Development for Atlantic Realty Partners, Ben Curran, is interested in the property, according to an SAP permit filed with City of Atlanta on February 4th.
According to the application, the new development would consist of “several parcels”: 465 Memorial Drive, 470 Woodward Avenue, and 475 Memorial Drive with construction greater than 250,000 square feet.
Atlantic Realty Partners’ portfolio includes Cyan on Peachtree and Azure on The Park in Midtown, in addition to The Reserve Decatur and The Reserve at The Ballpark, a collection of 321 mid-rise apartments around the Braves’ SunTrust Park. Perhaps the new development will be called Teal or The Reserve at Grant Park.
