A new supper club is opening to the public this May, offering full-service dining and nightly live entertainment. Called The Sapphire Tampa, it’s a place “Where modern luxury meets dynamic entertainment.”
“Inspired by the timeless elegance of the iconic supper clubs of the 1950s, The Sapphire reimagines the evening experience through a refined, contemporary lens—where live bands, DJs, and tableside flair create an atmosphere designed to captivate and indulge,” says the Sapphire’s website. “With elevated cuisine, crafted cocktails, and distinctive private dining suites, every detail is thoughtfully composed to transform each visit into an occasion worthy of the moment.”
A representative of The Sapphire told What Now on Monday that it’s still too soon share specific details on the menu, but expect something “upscale, luxurious, focusing on the hospitality aspects of dining out,” the representative said. “It’s something Tampa’s been craving for a long time.”
The website describes The Sapphire’s menu as “a study in contract and refinement,” involving small plates that “arrive artfully composed, designed to be shared, explored, savored between sips of champagne and conversation. Globally sourced seafood, rare prime cuts, seasonal delicacies, and bold, layered flavors unfold in perfect proportion. Each bite is intentional. Each detail deliberate.”
Expect steaks, seafood, and other full-size plates too.
The Sapphire Tampa will open at 4410 W Boy Scout Blvd. The representative said an opening is expected in late May.
