Well-Known Thrift Chain Set to Open First San Antonio Store

The expanding thrift chain will introduce thousands of new items daily, host a weekend-long grand opening, and create dozens of local jobs in San Antonio.

Red White & Blue Thrift Store, a national thrift retail chain, is expanding its presence in Texas with a new San Antonio store. The brand is known for its wide selection of secondhand goods and is bringing its “treasure hunt” shopping experience to the Northeast Side.

Red White & Blue Thrift Store Expands With a New San Antonio Location

Red White & Blue Thrift Store will open its new location at 5722 Walzem Rd. in San Antonio on Thursday, April 23. The brand will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8:45 a.m., with doors opening to customers at 9 a.m.

The grand opening will feature weekend-long events with refreshments, giveaways, and community-inclusive activities. The regular store hours will run from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

The brand offers a wide range of home goods, clothing, shoes, and more, with over 10,000 high-quality items added daily.

Shoppers seeking affordable and thoughtful shopping experiences can visit the new store to explore the collection. The new store opening also creates more than 70 jobs for the local community.

Bob Tucker, Regional Director of the brand, shared the excitement of the new store opening and stated, “This new location helps us continue our mission of providing high-quality, sustainable shopping options while reaching more customers. It also reinforces our commitment to environmental and social responsibility. Every visit gives shoppers access to affordable, repurposed items and supports a cycle of reuse that benefits both our communities and our landfills.”

With more than 30 locations across 11 states, the chain continues to expand in major markets, including a recent opening in Cherry Hill.
