Gillman Subaru San Antonio Service Shop is planning a major redevelopment of its service operations in Selma, according to recently filed permit records with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

Gillman Subaru San Antonio currently offers a full range of maintenance and repair services, from oil changes and inspections to transmission and drivetrain work, with service amenities including complimentary coffee and snacks, Wi-Fi, and shuttle transportation.

Stacey Gillman and Jason Gillman are the current owners of Gillman Subaru. The company was founded in 1938 by Frank Gillman and has grown into a major automotive group, with Stacey Gillman serving as a key leader.

The project, listed as Gillman Subaru San Antonio Service Shop, is planned for 16040 I-35 N, where filings call for the demolition of the existing service shop to make way for a new automotive service facility. The new build is expected to span 20,505 square feet and carries an estimated construction cost of $2.25 million.

Public records show the project was recently registered and is slated to begin construction on June 1, 2026, with completion expected in February 2027. The filing notes that the project is privately funded and lists Gillman Properties of Texas, Ltd. as the property owner.
