Ontario Mills is adding a popular spot for booklovers to its lineup this year. Nationwide bookstore brand Barnes & Noble will open a location at the Ontario mall in the fall, according to a recent release.

The mall has been adding a string of new tenants, with indoor slide and air court concept Slick City Action Park recently joining the site as well as a freshly remodeled Starbucks. The mall will also add Taiwanese premium milk tea brand Milksha this month and activewear brand Fabletics in June.

The forthcoming location for Barnes & Noble will offer books, gifts, games and a cafe on site.

Barnes & Noble is charting a path toward expanding its footprint nationwide this year. At the end of 2025, Barnes & Noble announced ambitious expansion plans for the year, sharing that the bookstore chain intended to open 60 locations across the country throughout 2026.
