Major thrift store chain Savers is bringing a new location to the area. Savers will open at Town Center Station at 501 Roberts Ct. in Kennesaw, according to Tomorrow New’s Today Atlanta.

Savers is one of the major players in the secondhand goods space. The brand launched in 1954 in San Francisco and is now the largest for-profit thrift retailer in the U.S. and Canada, according to the Savers website.

“Our mission is to make secondhand second nature,” the website states. “From the thrill of the hunt to the joy of decluttering, we help communities harness the power of pre-loved stuff to keep reusable items around for years to come.”

The brand accepts and pays for clothing and household items from local nonprofits. Between 2020 and 2024, Savers diverted more than 3.2 billion pounds of reusable materials from landfills to thrifting and paid more than $490 million to nonprofit partners.

The brand has existing locations in the Atlanta area, including Value Village locations in Gainesville and Decatur as well as a Savers location in Conyers.
