Slick City Action Park will make its first foray into the state with a new location in West Atlanta this summer. It will open at 2840 East-West Connector #200 in South Cobb in early summer, according to a release.

Founded in 2021 by Bron Launsby and Gary Schmit, the franchise offers family-focused entertainment experiences, including indoor dry-slide and air courts. The South Cobb location will debut Slick City’s corkscrew-style slide, joining slides such as Fast Lane, Twin Turbo, Hyperloop, Mega Launch and Riptide. Other experiences include the Sport Air Court, Freestyle Air Court, Swing and Trapeze, and an arcade. There will also be dedicated play spaces for children, including the Junior Jungle and Web Crawler.

Mehtab Wasi, co-owner of Slick City South Cobb, will bring a background in engineering, product development and technology to the franchise. Wasi was attracted to Slick City’s innovation and collaborative culture.

“For us, this was about bringing something completely new and exciting to the community,” Wasi said in the release. “We saw an opportunity to create an experience where families can make memories together while enjoying attractions they simply can’t find anywhere else in Georgia. That’s incredibly rewarding.”

Wasi is partnering with Chase Nelson to bring the location to life.

“This is much more immersive and exciting than a traditional trampoline park experience,” Nelson said in the release. “After visiting several Slick City locations, it became clear how different the attractions are. We knew families in this area would respond to that energy and creativity.”

Headquartered in St. Louis and Nashville, Slick City opened its first location in Denver in 2022. It now has 139 locations either open or in the works across the nation.
