Fresh & Feta is preparing to bring a fresh Mediterranean-inspired dining option to Little Grand Market this summer, according to the Columbus Business First.
The fast-casual concept comes from Tarek Albast, the owner behind Habibi Grill. The new eatery is expected to open in early June inside the Grandview Heights food hall as part of Thrive Cos.’ Grandview Crossing development, which is located at 710 Grandview Xing Way.
Fresh & Feta will focus on customizable Mediterranean bowls, wraps, and salads packed with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. Guests can expect menu items such as falafel, chicken shawarma, fresh vegetables, feta, grains, and house-made sauces. Sides will include hummus, baba ganoush,h and fried cauliflower, alongside a dedicated kids menu.
According to the vendor profile on Little Grand Market’s website, the concept will also offer salads, wraps, and bowls as part of its everyday lineup.
Albast has been active in the Columbus restaurant scene since 2008. Before opening Habibi Grill, he operated the Mr. Hummus food trucks and later expanded the brand into brick-and-mortar locations around the city. After selling those restaurants in 2023, he shifted his focus toward Habibi Grill and now Fresh & Feta.
Fresh & Feta will take over the former For the Love of Dough Cookies space inside the market. The addition marks the second new vendor to join Little Grand this year, following the opening of Sexton’s Pizza earlier in 2026.
What Now Columbus reached out to Albast for comment, but did not receive a response by the time of publication. This article will be updated as more becomes available.
